Champagne Cocktail
1 bottle Champagne or Sparkling Champagne
1 Champagne flute
1 sugar cube
Angostura bitters
Cognac or other brandy
A long twist of orange zest
Place a sugar cube into a Champagne flute and sprinkle a few drops of Angostura bitters over the sugar cube. Then add 1 oz. (2 tablespoons) Cognac and top with Champagne or Sparkling Champagne. Squeeze a little zest oil into your glass, then garnish with the twist of orange zest. One bottle of Champagne makes 6 cocktails.
