Banana Fritters
3 bananas
2 tablespoons granulated sugars
1/3 cup milk
6 measuring tablespoons flour
1 egg beaten slightly
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Pinch of nutmeg
Crush bananas to a cream. Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and nutmeg. Add alternately with milk and lemon juice to crushed bananas. Lastly, add beaten egg. Drop by tablespoon into deep fat. Fry just as you would pancakes. Drain on paper towels, and then sprinkle with sugar. Keep warm and serve with slices of lemon.
